Weird PSO glitch

With the utmost respect ALMSIVI, i really like schthack's server, and you need to really stop talking the man down for doing all this work in his free-time just so the loyal PSO community can play their favorite game.

If you cant say anything positive about scht, or what he has created just for us, Please shut up.

Well, i decided the other day to get my FOmar to hard, since he was already in his 20's. The mines were really easy since i had lvl 6 (with my wiz/tech it is 7) gizonde and pretty much 1 HKO'd everything, and i beat Vol OPT in about 3 minutes, and i went to the door when i realised i didnt unlock the key in the mines, but i did unlock the forest and caves ones, so i went back into mines 2, found the key, activated it, went back and the door only showed that the mines key was unlocked, so i went back to the forest and mines and those were unlocked to! how do i fix this?

Who cares? Just beat EP2 in Normal. That'll get you to Hard mode offline too.

Maybe you should think of it more like an open beta.

The welcome message states that the server is a beta, and you agree to not hold Schthack responsible for any damage to either your hardware or software.

Lance813, I'll throw out whatever criticism I want about Schthack, because personally, I think he's an ignorant fool who doesn't know the first thing about being a respectable administrator, even if he has the correct programming knowledge. Hosting his own server does not mean he's smart at running it. Kind of like the U.S. government.

Oh, and the "loyal PSO community" is a shitheap, so that doesn't really cross my mind.

SCHThack just does things for his own enjoyment, only out of generosity do we have his server. It costs money to maintain and he doesn't charge us to play on it. We don't have to play on it, we could go back to SEGA, or just do nothing at all.

It is foolish indeed to publically criticise someone who for one thing is not present to defend themself, and who is also admired by so many for their generosity.

Even if SCHThack is not a pro at running a server (and he isn't professional anyway, since he's not getting paid), why should he be? You get what you pay for and if the community pays nothing then they have no right to expect anything. But we have at least something so there's little point in bitching.

And dudemanozzy, did we really need the text in red? Please try to form a better argument rather than just an angry rant.

remember the glitch and grinding stuff? the server?

stchack server is very good, every game has his problems and those need time to be fixed

I agree with ALMSIVI, unfortunately. SCHThack's choice of staff is hilariously bad, more than once I've logged in to be booted of by a trigger-happy mod. That's why I've quit BB now, I really can't be assed, especially since the game is glitching more and more often now.

Like Anti said, you get what you pay for. If you don't give shit, you can't expect shit.
