opinion on cheats hacks and dupes

take a look at the private server, i didn't like and i still don't like ppl trading hacks or dupes, if so they could give them like i did but anouncing if the item is legit or not.
when the enemy editor worked i would go to temple and make every enemy id the same as haloween rappy, and tons of jack o lanterns would drop, if ppl wanted them they could pick them but atleast they would know it was a hack.

same thing happened with lavis cannons, frozzen shooters, aura fields........
if they acepet the hack, then so be it.

Is restoring counted as a hack/a cheat? What about being given items that are 'way too rare' for you to have? How about backing up stuff? I take it cloning/stacking are cheats, but do people count them as hacks? Dum dum doo.

(Reading this thread made me feel sorta bad... I have a Guld Milla, a Frozen Shooter, and a Parasitic Gene Flow. I KNOW the PGF is a hack. But someone dropped it, said they didn't want it... does that make me a hacker if I picked it up?)

no, accepting a hack item does NOT make you a hacker, it however, DOES make you illegit, accepting hack/cheat items makes you illegit, but nice job finding a guld milla

i think cloning and duping are technically hacks even if people don't want them to be. also people don't expect me to ever get on pso:'( I only have the xbox version which schtack doesn't support and I'm not allowed to download things so it's doubtful I will ever get blueburst and I don't trust the gamecube not to corrupt my data.

duping can be made due to a game bug, i beleive it was removed on pso + but on pso gc ep 1&2 the bug exist and ppl for example before trading an uber rare, they make a dupe first, so they basicly they trade and continue to have the item at the same time........this however in my opinion should be anouced as a duped item for the person you trade with.

I agree completely. I think that doing that is a hack and shouldn't be allowed. however unfortunately some people don't have the same views

I went online with my gamecube, and my data got corrupted. Personally, it was worth it. Restore FTW, and lots of luvverly people to play and trade with.

but in that case you had lost your stuff, now imagine ppl creating those for fun and trading......that's not very nice
for example when i had the enemy mod, i went to temple and killed enemys, but the game considered every enemy to be event rapies like saint rappy, to tacticly presents would apear, if ppl wanted them they could pick them, i was not forcing them to pick them up, if they didn't want then they could simply leave the item on the ground.
