I think that people should put their sex on their profile

I think this should happen for a very good reason, so no one gets mistaken for who they arent and no one gets offended. For instance, i thought Nomercy was a chick because of the picture of dark magician girl, and i am no confused with Rena as they used a picture of a girl for the avatar, BUT in their signature, used the japanese term ぼく which is used for boys only, so, just a minor suggestion.

That's hilarious. That could be a quote from a song, or even from a boy.

Did anyone actually get offended? I think it's funny how inaccurate it is to judge just by avatar/sig. It's verging on going by their character class in PSO. It's often unclear judging by what they post too unless it's explicit. Sometimes you really can't tell, so it's good in a way since you can't be sexist. Just ask if you really need to know.

i once talked about that to lee, it was sometimes hard to see if the ppl in the forums were girls or male members.
not only influences the way you talk (a man to a girl will have noticible better grammar and he will be careful with his typing in order not to hurt the feelings to the girl) and the way you begin talking , miss, mister.......

Joking aside <<; Yea, we should have gender in our profile. I can't tell you how many people have guessed my gender wrong in the past. Several times on this board actually xP It's kind of amusing. A gender option would definitely prevent some awkward (or hilarious) situations.
