some questions i need answered before i start

O okay i have had PSU sence it came out, and I am still playing PSO. i wanted to play both( and my GC wont let me on) but first.a few questions

how in the worl do you get one of the first PS2 that came out online??

how much is it ?
#3 is there a privet server or are the sega servers better?
and last will the char i used in extra mode be used for online?
like i would like these answerd so i can stard getting everything started

all i can awser from what i understood is the fact there are private servers of PSU, but i recomend the sega ones, more ppl play, it has more security, more updates and cheaters are banned on sight.

1) Any PS2 can be used online, I believe, though if you're looking for the old bulky version I'd recommend a site like Amazon.

2) You can probably pick up a PS2 for...$90 or so, I don't know. The game, about $50.

3) I don't think there are any private servers for PSU yet. I know Schthack won't be making one.

ok like i said i have the Ps2 and the game but i dont know how to get my PS2 online is there an expansion needed to get online or somthing?

You require a broadband adaptor and a CAT5 cable. Connect one end of the cable to your router, and the other to your PS2. Switch everything on, and load an online game. Choose the online part of the game, and select "Create new connection". Once that's done, load the connection, and you're online.

Furthermore, you can't use your Extra Mode character Online - partly because the mechanics of Online Mode are entirely different, balanced for party play rather than Extra Mode/Story Mode's solo play, and partly to eliminate hacking in weapons offline to bring them online.
