I am one of the lucky people of the world who got the pleasure of playing what may be the greatest game of all time: Tales of Symphonia. With it's epic plot twists, intense battles, breath taking cut scene graphics, and over all incredible story, this game is one of the best games known to mankind. (SPOILER WARNING: Do NOT read this forum if you are currently playing the game, have not beaten it, or are planning on playing it, thus have not seen the full storyline. Secrets posted in tis forum may be too much for your souls to handle. Thank you.)

i got poked via pm by Gimph to post here so here goes:
This game is great, only taken around 115 hours in normal mode to do everything and hit lv100 lol, in fact its so great i have started again to refresh the story line and to enjoy it again.

I've beaten it twice and I'm starting again! I'm obsessed! That game made me cry... Who was your favorite character? Mine is either Corrine or Yuan.

Tales of Symphonia is definately one of the best games i may ever have had the joy of playing - Its amazing! Recently i have had to urge to want to start playing it again, and now this topic is made... i think its destiny to play it again!
The best parts of the game are definately the cut scenes though - Theres a film there for sure! Can't literally wait for Tales of Symphonia 2!

I know, the cut scenes are absolutely incredible! I hope that Tales of Symphonia 2 is as good, if not better, than the first. That would be awesome. I would hate to have ToS given a bad name because of a bad sequel. I actually heard that there were other games for PS2 that have connections to Tales of Symphonia. I believe one was Tales of the Abyss. I also heard that they weren't neary as good as the original though. It would be interesting to play them, but I don't have a PS2, so I can't. Normaly I would have more information on the second ToS, but my Nintendo Power subscription is screwed up, and I haven't gotten one for months. I'll look it up though.

Hehe, nice avatar! I expect ToS2 will be awesome no matter what, with a lot of the characters returning too, although of all the names ive seen i havent heard Lloyds :S He's the main character! lol
And yea theres quite a few other Tales games on PS2 i think, though ive also heard theyre not as good, but would still probs be worth a look. They're turn-based battles tho i think which is what made ToS stand out from the rest!

I heard in the sequel Lloyd is going to be the villain going against some of his comrades from the first game.

Hmm, thats quite a twist if true! Guess we'll just have to see how it spans out when the game is out - Anyone heard any dates?

Yeah, the game has a very unique battle system which I love! Although it takes away from the classic RPG form, it's still amazing.
Sniffle...sniffle...I always cry when Corrine dies, and I actually just killed Volt...and...Corrine...sniffle...:'(
