does anyone play the original 1&2 online anymore? is it even possible? i bought this game a long time ago and only played with with 3 other friends but when they stopped playing i pretty much stopped. now i've started playing on my own and i have to admit it is fun and addicting but i really enjoyed the teamwork. so i was wondering if anyone plays the gamecube original version online anymore because i don't feel like paying for something when there's no one there that'd be friendly/online. anyway, if a few someones still play online i'd be very tempted to start.

well, there are a few here playing around on it, i plan on doing it the whole summer, and of course there are the odd 100 or so on SCHTHACK

its good to know, i hope we're all talking about the same version on gamecube. last thing i heard there were two version (if you can't tell i haven't become totally wrapped up in the game yet) but seeing that people already replied in one day is making me think about getting online for summer ^_^

There are two versions for the GC. Regular episode 1&2, and episode 1&2+, which has online quests offline already I believe. Other than that I don't think there's any difference whatsoever. Unfortunately I can't play online with the GC :/

yeah + has some of the online quests for offline (really handy) but the reg version (IMO) is easier to connect online with and is the only version that can connect to your comp via a glitch, other than that, they are the same, which is why i want the reg version, same game, only easier to connect online and i can back up my files =3

the glitch tricks the game into thinking that your computer is a server and it connects to your computer, allowing you to save your data and also edit it, really the only reason cheaters use the reg version, as much as i like the convenience of online quests offline, i need the reg version just to connect to online as + is a bitch :mad:
