what''s the best sword in pso bb? I need to know for future reference because I plan on downloading it soon. (if like Kireek siad it doesn't cost anything)
is it the tsukimiri j sword? if so how in mata nui's name do I get it? is there a queast with a lot of those annoying bugs? or are there holiday events whhere drop rates are modified temporarily?

I meant excluding that sword and that sword sounds weak when you really think about it. 900 with one attack is the same as 300 with 3 seperate attacks. even the dragon slayer beats that.

(Never played BB much so I dunno if it's still there) the Orotiagito was always my favourite.
For TSJ, you need to get the Sealed J-Sword first (as far as I know, only Skyly can get it, and only from Gi Gues) then get a certain amount of kills (23,000 IIRC) to unlock it.

I wish I'd have chosen a more unique name when I joined this site... Bah, I was 12. Sue me.

tsukimiri j sword is indeed a great sword, but i might tell you that the red sword is also a good option considering it's alot more common and having one with hit % may be great.
But in the end a good TJS will always have the best results when you want to kill packs of monsters, especially in ep1.
Schthack is or was running some sort of event, any box or enemy would have a chance of droping a christmas box, these boxes would contain rares and one of them is indeed the TJS.
I'm not sure if the event is over, my guess is that it ended.
Do tower quests with a skyly from time to time, it's not an easy drop i'm afraid, maybe you can get a few valuable rares and try and trade them for a TJS.

well the advantage of skyly is they can get the chain sawd from addicting food. they either sell for 28 or forty PD and I think sealed j sword or tjs is only around 400 so if 40 I only need to find ten of those. and I think I'm going to go for the chain sawd because it has a more reliable amount of damage versus the red sword. unless the red sword is faster of course

No, the chain sawd is actually very good and due to the variable ATP i believe it can even surpass the red sword.
Specials are different, red sword has an unreduced seize wich can be great with the proper equips and the proper char (androids), but the chain sawd is better for long terms gameplay, especially in ruins, whenever you need health all you need is to do the special to recover health and since the special is also unreduced then it's a great weapon for sure.

I was going to use and android for my skyly anyways so maybe the red sword is a good idea. and maybe I can trade a red sword or chain sawd for a demolition comet however that's quite a ways away

Demolition Comet is pretty good, but you'd be better-off probably, making a Bluefull and hunting them via Mil Lilies. Otherwise, there are plenty of good sword-type weapons out there, most of them easier to find than Red Sword/Chain Sawd. I prefer the Last Survivor, even though it has a weaker ATP rating.
Link, the Orotiagito does indeed still exist in Blue Burst, though technically it's a katana-type. I'm unsure if we're just talking about HU swords in general, or the actual archetype.
Another good and relatively easy weapon to obtain is the Musashi/Yamato, which are twin swords. Relatively high ATP, and they hit is it five, or six times?

If I don't know what lies beyond
Desire is now the one in control
Am I strong enough to not ever know just what I'd find?
Should I press on?

the rule for katanas is five hits and for double swords six as far as I am able to tell. the problem with bluefull is the best partisan is probably the soul banish and while that is an enviable partisan it isn't as good as a lot of swords.
and since my skyly will be an android there's no point in hunting mil lilies unless it's an amazing weapon because the cost will most likely outweigh the benefits
the only way to get mil lilies is by piping and that's a good 3500 every ten pipes. If I had done that on my hunewearl hunting magic stone iritista I'dve been broke and my hunewearl will be a redria if that's possible because i heard something about your id being affected by what character you are
and I'm tlaking about swords like the red sword not katanas.
