name problems

I give my characters names to affect their drops. (like Amy for my fonewearl so she'll be pinkal) but it doesn't work. I've even tried the name calculator and it says my section ID should be pinkal. I read something earlier where the character in question also affects the section Id. for some reason I keep getting yellowboze on my force. also, I keep getting greenill on my hucast.

Hmm. I had a Purp. Racaseal on the Gamecube by the name of Rain, and I have a Purp. Fomarl called Crescent. The calculator is based on Gamecube though, not Blue Burst.

yeah that's my problem. the calculator is irrelevant to blueburst and the name doesn't seem to affect the Id. I guess I'll keep tryingh. hopefully somebody has a solution if it fails.

(couple of tries later) well at least my hucast is a redria now. I guess the only real method is to try a random name that sounds good and if it isn't the ID you want choose a different name or modfiy yours in some way.

Try putting a space behind the name. Every space you put will change the ID.
