I thought it might be interesting to get people's opinions on this topic.
My favourites are Ocarina of Time, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy IX, and Chrono Cross.
I haven't even gotten to play it yet (CC) but already the OST is one of the greatest musical endeavours I've ever heard. These soundtracks easily surpass almost any movie score I know, so how do you guys feel?

I say PSO, huge variety, lot's and lot's of music including premium arrange music.

With out a doubt in my mind my favorite OST would be Ocarina of Time. PSO is really good (Im looking at you TrickTrack.)
Others would be: Legend of Mana, FF X, Crono Cross, Tales of Symphonia, and Kirby Dreamland.
There are many others. I love listening to game music, I find it nostalgic.
I'll post more later.

I'm not entirely sure that it's original but I love metroid prime's music. the first one not the second or third.

I got to say mine is, Nights, Baten kaitos, Pso3. The only soundtrack that i bought was Pso and Pso3 and those are great.

A score that's composed specifically for a particular game/movie is an OST. So yes, MP1, 2, and 3 all have OST's.

wwell I saw a couple videos about teh megaman games having a few non original soundtracks so that's why I wasn't sure. but while I'm at it megaman x 3s soundtrack was really good in my opinion
