simply put is it legit? I know the 60% hit is due to christmas drop but not so sure about the other stats since you normally can't get percents on weapons made from enemies.

(edit) yeah I know that this one isn't made from enemies it's gotten from a christmas present so please don't point out the obvious.

also taking your present offline, opening it not liking the item inside and resetting is illegit. (not entirely sure you can do that but it was mentioned somewhere and it sounds doable)

any animal part weapon with %'s is not legit.

On schthack it is, christmas extended the % to 60, so the hit is legit, everything else is sphered.

yeah there are actually a few animal weapons with legit percents. the 60% hit while not normally legit is in this case.

also I thought you could only sphere one time. is it different on schtack?

You can sphere all you want, but at some point the % won't increase more and you can only have 3 areas with %

The christmas bringers rifle is 0/0/0/0/60 i believe, and i'm unsure if you can sphere the other %s on an enemy weapon but i dont see why not. theres 3% areas on it so thats fine too.

my gripe on this is why someone would sphere a weapon like this up so much. admittedly its damn good due to its hit% but thats because of the special. cost versus effectiveness here it doesnt seem like a good investment.

either way, should you ever be offered, or try to trade for a weapon like this, ask for screenshots for either spheres, or at very least the sphering of the weapon. and its origins.

As for the offline Xmas present thing, that was for gamecube/xbox and dreamcast. back when you could play offline. and was pretty much a legit thing to do. as you've done nothing outside the boundries of the game.

cheat codes aren't outside the boundaries of the game either but not many consider those legit. I'm just saying they haven't really EARNED the item they've exploited a glitch in the games programming.

and yeah I think you can only sphere once but I'm not sure. if so the weapon would be illegit

cheat codes aren't within the boundaries if the original programmers didnt put them in, like with pso, or any other orpg, but it really doesnt matter.

as for sphering, you can do it more than once, its just damn expensive getting, for example, a 100/100/0/100 weapon from a 0/0/0/0 is entirely possible

only about three items I would even CONSIDER doing that with.

also that effectively increases the item's worth b 100% per sphere making it wildly unaffordable. unless of course it's something useless like a db's saber. in that case you're just screwed

the 60% hit bringers rifle christmas present on the schthack was a special christmas present find along with the Tsumikiri-J-sword and zanba other items were mearly random rares with 0 percents or about 5-10% hit. I know this because one of my friends is part of the christmas presnt thing and he told me alot of the things they put in there
