a possible solution to spambots.

go to the register form at this site. http://www.giantitp.com/forums/index.php and look at the way it keep out spambots. if it wouldn't be too much trouble to implement I think it would keep the spambots away.

also if you even remotely like dungeons and dragons or are interested in the game at all read the comic they have there.

I have also seen simple things in the registration like "what color is the sky? (color is blue), as simple it is and even by showing the answer some bots cannot register because they don't know what is the actual answer (unless someone register the bot manually)

In any case, i can now ban the bots forever, so you may see them online and all, but they won't do much as the posts will be deleted on sight and the bot banned automaticly

The registration method now uses a Q&A system rather than reCAPTCHA. Lets see how this works...

Well, one bot apeared (manual registration) but he won't be able to post (yes, i banned him)

EDIT: many are apearing, way to many for such a small period of time.
