hey i have a question about the internet in this game (sorry if its not in the right place, but what do u expect me to do, look through the entire site to post this!?)

my internet is bt broadband and i have a line filter that attactches to the computer via usb port. what can i do to get the ethernet connection you need to use the gamecubes broadband modem online? please someone tell me cas i really really wanna go online soon, im going mad with no new quests to do!
