did you know what playing games like PSO over long periods of time (lets say till lvl 100+) can cause you to be more likely to go mad than a person who doesnt play repetitive games?

I saw the title and said to myself, "This is right up my alley" You see i believe im slowly going insane, due to not getting the rares i do repetitive runs for, having a lack of time to let my feelings fly of the wall and not being able to express my intense imagination...lol, its more like trying to get to lvl 200 that will drive you insane.

i am only at lv 83 so i have not really gotten obbsessed or insane from this game game game game game game. except maybe because i have felt hypper lately lately lately. like a broken record record record record.

I have played the PSO series for more than 9000 hours now over a couple of years, and I ain't insane...
(look away from the gc...ahh...F it! * Switches it on and has a 'quick' go lasting 38 hours*)

Hehe, well I have kind of become a tiny bit addicted to the game, I don't know what does it but something just wants me to turn the GC back on after another FSOD . I suppose it happens with all RPGs online or offline in time to be honest that’s why it’s my 2nd best genre apart from shoot 'em ups :beard: . I don’t really think you can go "Insane" over a game, that’s just silly you can get addicted but insane is the wrong word to use.

I have seen one go insane over the FF series. It's scary really. He just blabs on about all day long and plays it whenever he gets the chance. He has all the figures of them and tons of artwork.

i swear to god i went temporarily insane whilst playing a diablo 2 game once, and again when playing legend of mir p69. it was wierd. it was something to do with the repetitive wierd soundeffects crudding my head up.
