U don't need to beat the game or do all quests but i suggest u do all quests first.And remember,DON'T TELL SUE UR NAME IN DOCTOR OSTO'S RESEARCH OR U WON'T GET IT.The guide to get the soul eater is at:

Guess theres my Soul Eater gone. Told her my name on that quest on Normal, but I cant be bothered doing the Quests on another difficulty.

Well, got a Soul eater +9 on normal with my FOmar at level 25.
It is awesome, it helped me neat the hard dragon boss and DF on normal.
IT took me ages to figure out how to get it, I wish i had seen an FAQ earlier...

It's amazing how people find these things out. Like how to get the Ragol Ring. That's just plain crazy what you have to do. How do they find it out? Do SEGA give the Japanese players the info and not us?

Most probably people playing the hours hours upon hours. After the time they spend on it they must find something out.

on normol mode i also told her my name doing this insted of geting a soul eater u get the flame visit (its a difrent string of side quests)
