Sesshomaru pets Kalki's head gently. The two seem to be lost in their own world.
Back in the living room...
Touya exits quickly and quietly.
Touya: How? How could she choose him over me? I've known her long before she ever met Kurama. I knew I should've said something earlier on.
Yusuke continues to pet Kirara in his sleep.
When I grow up, I want to be a pet rock.

The two continue blushing. Yusuke and Jin stare. The two burst out in laughter.
Y: AHAHAHAHAHAHA! You two should see the looks on your faces!!!
J: Melfi! Yer face is redder than my hair!!
M: O-oh y-you two shut u-up! Or I-I'll w-w-wack you g-good!
Y&J: *stares followed by more laughter*

Touya wanted to cry, but his pride wouldn't let him. He had loved Melfi since after half a week when they met. Though, Melfi never showed any interest in him. But Kurama had beaten him to the prize.

Kurama and Melfi decide to retreat to his bedroom. Jin and Yusuke were redder then Jin's hair and their stomaches hurt. Kurama and Melfi pass Kaki's bedroom, and see her and Sesshomaru kissing as well.
Kura: Let's not tell Jin or Yusuke about them.
M: Yeah. They'll never hear the end of it.
Kura: I fear that we really won't.
M: Oh well. That never stopped me or you before.
