Anybody here like Yu Yu Hakusho or Excel Saga?

ah, that makes sense. i have my own opinions on subs and dubs, mostly that dubs suck. but anyways, i still have to watch anime on cartoon network cuz its my only source.

Poor you! But Lion's right, anime is waaay better uncut. I'll only watch Excel Saga in subs cause the Eng. voices suck. On YYH, the dubbing is quite good. The voices fit the chars. A lot of anime have voices that just don't work for that char.

I was amazed how much the English voices sound like the characters are supposed to. Kuwabara's (sp?) voice fits SO perfectly. I think he's my favorite character so far.

You spelled Kuwa's name right. Dun worry bout it. My fav char that isn't a Reikai Tantei (Spirit Detective) would have to be Touya. You'll see him in the Tourny.

or her avatar lol. Actually sean saw that fight (i ruined it for him like 4 months ago but im sure he already forgot but will quickly remember when he gets to that episode lol). He saw from the Kurama vs Gama up to Yusuke vs Jin (didnt see any of that fight though) and thats ALL hes seen of the dark tourney, nothing else at all. but hes finishing up the Maze Castle Saint beast section so hes almost there!

Yup yup. I just finished disc 5 and 6 today. I would have watched them sooner but I got disc 6 before I got disc 5, so I had to wait. Does anyone else have it on DVD? Cuz every disc I've watched skips a lot in the middle of an episode. Maybe it's cuz I'm playing it in my PS2, but if anyone else can tell me about it I'd like to know.

Hmm....I use my PS2 for DVD's an the like, but that's never happened.(and I got mine used!) I guess it depends on how often you use it, and how many other people have watched those discs. Hey, Lion, what's your fav team (other than Urameshi) from the Tourny? It's a tie between Mashostukai(did I sp that right?) and Uratogi....

i think the spelling is uraitogi...but anyway, mine is probably rikouyoukai(sp?). Ichigaki sucks, Masho was cool but Bakkan and Risho and Gama were pointless, Uraitogi was not too great (well theres a main reason why but i dont want to say here because of sean). Heh and well Toguros team was just awesome but thats to be expected of the Final team. But Rikouyoukai was funny, it had Rinku the yoyo kid and Chu (who the hell cant find Chu funny) and Zeru was pretty cool but he didnt last very long lol.

kinda like in akira, the mouth stops moving but the character keeps talking.

Yeah, but next to Chu, Suzuki (or Suzuka depending on dub/sub) was pretty good too. And Kuwabara vs Uratogi was good.
