lol interesting, oh and sweetness, in FF11 you know theres a way to translate anything you say into all languages so everyone can understand right. When the text appears with the little red and green arrows on either side of it, that means its being translated into all languages so if you /sh (shout) something like that, everyone in the area will understand despite language barriers. Thats how i get a teleport when im in Bastok (or anyother town), just /sh "i need a teleport dem (or hallah or whatever), will pay 400 gil" etc.

actually thats a formal sorry, gomen is just sorry. And sumimasen is excuse me (can kinda be interchanged withgomen)

Sumimasen is also I think "Excuse me" when you are trying to get someone's attention, like a waiter. But it's also "Excuse me" when you've done something wrong o_O

thats pretty much the same context, getting someones attention is interrupting them from whatever they were doing, thats rude and merits an "excuse me".
