If pie drops a rare, its most likely a Photon drop. Poor peopl who cant go online and use them, all they can do is like, sell them, as for me, I have spent countless amounts of them trading for Photon spheres and adding percent to my stuff..well, my best stuff.

you do the gallon shop online quest. then go down to where the telepipes appear(your in ep2 thing) and take a left as soon as you go down the big staircase. there will be the little short fat FOnewm talk to him with them in your pack and he will take you where you can trade them in.
