wait wait wait...kefka, the Dark weapons have been out for a long time...hacking only became a big thing recently. One year ago, only Barubary was a hacker (and maybe a select few of his friends). But i never heard of him releasing the gene. What i heard was, before ST installed the code that keeps falz and olga from dropping rares, a JP Oran player got the drop from Olga. Of course, just like they did with the hacked mags, ST made a line of code on server side and whenever somebody logged on it was placed onto their account and saved in the system data thus you couldnt get a drop from falz or olga online or off. Just like the hacked mags, originally you could find rares with the mags but in STs attempt to crack down on cheaters they made coding that prevents anyone with the mags in their inventory to find rares (or is it only when its equipped Kefka?). By goin online, the coding was, again, placed into your system data and only applied to the hack mag coding. Anyway, correct me if im wrong Kefka. Oh and one more question, what all female equip was i thinking of thats lv123?


EDIT: whether im right or wrong about the JP player, the gene is, at least, massively duped (seeing as the JP only got one) so i guess im illegit because i made my own Dark Flow. Man thats crap...well if i ditch the Dark Flow, im clean so no problem. Not like i use the crapfest weapon anyway, just there to complete my collection.

That is a hoax that someone came up with to make the Gene seem legit, it was proven wrong long ago, all IDs can find the Gene at a 1/64 drop Rate from Olga Flow in Ultimate, but the odds of getting it are set to 0%

Same for Rico items from Ultimate Dark Falz.

About the Lv 1304 Mags, they only affect PSO+, so if you are on the regular PSO EpI&II (any version), they will not affect you, unless a PSO+ user is in your team.

no kefka youre wrong, the hacked mags do affect you on regular PSO 1 and 2. Guaranteed, i mean i used one and i never found a rare for the 13 levels i had it on, then almost immediately after removing it, i found rares. Online, if i make the game, rares are dropped even if other people are using the mag, its affected by the maker.

well, bragging aside, hacked mags won't affect regular PSO EpI&II, except if you are online and there is a PSO+ user with you.

no not 13 runs kefka, 13 levels! as in level 110-123. Thats a lotta runs, plus i find L&K14 Combat from Sil Dragon like every other time and i never found them again. It affected me offline too, i think i would know, i lived thru it. Why would i lie about NOT finding rares???

EDIT: Almost immediately removing the mag, i began to find rares again.

The game is very random with dropping rares. The hacked mag had nothing to do with your lack of rare drops if you were on Ep1&2.

He isn't saying you are lying about not finding rares. You are just attributing your unlucky streak to the hacked mag, which was not the reason.

I find it interesting that someone who claims to be legit used a hacked mag to gain 13 levels...

oh right you missed my convo with kefka, i was trying to convince him of the legitimacy of my items by telling him i would admit to cheating. Immediately thereafter i told him of my hacked mag escapades. Ive said on this site before ive had a streak of illegitimacy im not proud of and thats it. However, my items are legit. And also levels 110-123 is like a grand total of 1mil-1.5mil exp. Not a lot in the big picture but its still bad.
