I remember playing Sonic on the Genisis. It was much more fun on 2-D. And with the graphics on GameCube, it'd be quite interesting to see what a 2-D game looks like on 128 bit graphics.

well, you could always do the whole 2 1/2D graphics... you know... the tried and true 3d looking graphics while still running on the old side scroller that sonic used to be, or not... Really I liked Sonic Adventure for the dreamcast, they should have atleast continued to make the games that way.. I didn't really like the way sonic heros was.. or the overall feel of the controls and characters
