Comparison Between the different PSO versions...

My intention when making this thread was to tell ppl what i have seen on PSO for dc and explain the difference with the newer version of the game. The things that Omar have posted are true but they are based on the GC and XBOX version. My idea was to explain ppl each difference by the look of a player that played the older version and saw the difference with his own eyes and not based on any other info.

Exactly, this is ragol.co.uk, not psoworld... we dont need their data, we'd prefer to make our own! Here I was having fun remembering the old DC days of PSO and it gets ruined like everything else in life... psch!

I have nothing against this site. Someone asked for info and I got it from where I would usually when it concerns PSO.
Are you saying I will be banned for helping people? And what's with the personal attack? If I had posted such a thing that had nothing to add to the topic, then I would have been warned by now... :|

its not that what youre doing isnt helpful, it is, dont misunderstand what i said. My major problem was the fact that you basically take the fun out of it for everybody by putting everything down at once. Like Modar said, people like to reminiesce. And also, Orphen is right, this site is anti PSOW (and also you really arent supposed to put links to any other PSO site) so thats what he meant.

So knowing the differences between the games would somehow stop people from reminiscing? If I had decided to boot up V2 when I saw this topic and note down differences and compiled a list such as the one I posted, would that have somehow been different simply because the information came from a different source? Sorry, but that's pathetic.

When someone asks for a drop rate of an item and it is given then no-one bats an eyelid despite this information being taken from either Heyf00l's ign drop chart or Sounomi's Housoka, which are both made by long time PSOW members.

Your attitudes are hypocritical. Either solely use the information found on this site, or from your own gameplay experience, or accept that in some cases other sites do have more in-depth information and that this information won't hurt you because it was compiled by someone who knows more about this game than yourself.

I think it's great that here at ragol.co.uk, the information is actually compiled by playing the game and experimenting rather than just copying it from other sites like many PSO sites seem to (which is the reason I volunteered to add to some of the guides). There still isn't as much here yet however as elsewhere and some of the PSO information isn't accessible by anyone here (game data anyone?) so you must realise that you will not learn everything about this game through only this source or playing the game.

I don't think you should speak for the admin when you say it is Anti-PSOW here. I can understand some competition between different PSO sites, but it would be childish for people to start slagging off another site for arguably being superior. Such childish "school kid" like bickering would be frowned upon by my good friend luke after all...

I think you should fight your own battles, rather than bringing another friend to come join you, because all I see is sonmeone who is too weak to do anything on his own, which was why kefka was here for you.
This site is anti-PSOW, and I was told this by one of he mods. I believe it was decswxaqz, but if you dont believe that the site is, just ask anyone who has been here a while.
