I was just wondering if your section ID in Episode III actually determines, to an extent, what kind of cards you get in in a pack, or if they're just for show. I have been wondering this since I got the game.
Characters: Jakaal, Viridia, HUcast, lv.125.
Victor, Greenill, HUmar, lv.87
Lilty, Redria, FOmarl, lv.115
Axle, Yellowboze, RAmar, lv.26

I'd love to help but I don't have the game and quite frankly dont want it. The involvement of cards in the game just isnt appealing.................I know that doesn't help you but I have a right to my opinion, right?

People say it doesn't and swear by that fact. I personally do since I'm a Redria and got plenty of diska cards and barriers. But that's could be just my luck -.-

Maybe they just want to wait for a while b4 they release a real way to classify, didnt they do that with PSO on dreamcast?

If collecting cards is anything like collecting weapons (But not obviously pickin them up of the floor or anything) i shudda imagined there was a trend of which cards certain IDs got the most. Thats an assumption though!

But there should be a sort of randomness to opening packs since the system has to pick what will appear, right?

I, almost as much of an episode 3 veteran as decs, do not believe that IDs have no involvement in card retreivals. I think that it does so to an extent, because my friend got some completely wierd cards that I dont even have at level 30 at the moment, on a few of his first battles, such as heavy slash. My friend gave me on, but e is getting them like crazy, whil I havent even got one in the7 months that I have been playing the game as a Viridia.

Well, I have a Skyly ID, and I get a little bit of everything. What I notice is, the better battle rank I get (S, A, B, C, D ...) the more "new" cards I get. Sadly, I usually get D's so new cards are hard for me to get

.
Now brings the question: What do Card levels do?

Yes. The higher the rank at the end of a battle, the more carsd you get.
The card lvl means you will get more chance of a higher ranked cards. ie 1-20 you might get more N4 then 21-30 you might get more N2. Something like that I think.
