iv compleated ff 1,2,7,8,9,10,10-2 and my favorates are 7 9 and ten but my best of bests is dada da da dadaaaaa final fantasy seven :alien:

I love Final Fantasy. I have 7, 8, 9, X, X-2, and Final Fantasy Origins on the playstation. I got FF:CC and Final Fantasy Tactics on the GC and GBA.

The only FF I have ever totally completed is FF 9, so that would have to be my fav (Go vivi!). But, I am working on FF 10, and that might take the cake .

I want to get FF 11, but I am not sure it's worth it.

FF11 is worth it, i was just playing it right now. FF9 is funny, Vivi is the best in that game for sure *trips*

Really? Yeah, but I am still a teen, so I don't have my own credit card.... My parents aren't too fond of monthly fees. They're like "Well, why don't you just buy a game where you can play as long as you want without a monthly fee?".

It's not like EQ is it? I remember I bought that and a game card a while ago. I hated that game.

I play a lot of FF but my favorite is FF7. I like the storyline and characthers. The second I like is FF9, Vivi is the best one in the game.

umm FF11 is sometimes compared to EQ. Heres FF11 in a nutshell. The world is gigantic (ive played for about 100 hours and have traversed MAYBe 5-10% of the world). Monsters roam everywhere except town, early on, the monsters only fight you if you attack them in some way first however later monsters "aggro" (meaning the get aggression and attack you) by either sight, sound, or scent (depending on the monster). Once a fight is intiated, only you and/or your party can touch the monster (unless youre about to die and you call for help, in which case no one gets exp but you dont die which is good because you lose exp when you die). From what I've seen, the game has no driving story, you just kinda level up but then again, as i said, ive only seen about 5-10% of the game. I do know for a fact there is no final boss yet however, the level cap is only set at 75 (meaning you cant level past that for now) so the game isnt done yet, SquareEnix updates it constantly. There are numerous job classes, each of which level up (like when you gain a level, its only on that job, which is good because it offers more playing time, like right now im a level 18 warrior and a a level 14 White Mage-after 100+ hours of playing ) and once you get to level 30 you can go on quests to get more job classes (SquareEnix will probably add more, but there are 14 or 15 jobs out right now). If theres anything else you wanna know, just ask.

If you've got a lot of money and a lot of free time, you could have a lot of fun with FF11. You can obviously just hang around and talk to people but you can also go kill stuff, too. But I have neither money nor time so I have no love for FF11.

Well, I just saved up $100, and I'm ready to buy stuff.

I got two questions for ya:

1. Should I get PSO Ep.3 online for the GC, Or FF XI? Only one though. Which one do you think is more fun. Also, since I always have a little too much free time during the summer (Oh crap, forgot about my summer assignment.. oops!), I want the game that will be better to play for longer periods of time. I also like the social aspect.

2. If I get FF XI, which version should I buy? PS2 or PC. Lionheart, which one do you use? I am leaning towards the PC version, I do not want to blow $100 on one thing. I am pretty sure my computer can run it:

2.5 Ghz Pentium 4
512 mb ram
128mb DDR2 GeForce FX5700 Ultra.

i play on PS2 but its much cheaper on PC and your comp definitely meets the Specs. FF11 will most definitely last longer (at least 2000 hours im gonna assume) and im not a huge fan of Ep3 (cards arent my thing) so Im really leaning toward FF11.

Well, I guess I'll try XI then. But, I do happen to love Ep.3, so that's always an option too. I guess I should of thought this out a little more, before I ordered my Powerboard. Is the PS2 version as bad as everybody says it is: Bad-graphics/controlls? Plus, if I got the PS2 version, I'd have to get the network adapter .

This is really off topic, but have you tried Ep.3 yet? You might be in for a pleasant suprise, I know I was.

Oh man, I just realized that my Windows partition might not have enough space for the game. My Linux partition is taking all the space. I don't want to get rid of Linux, but I want to play. What to do, what to do...
