Ok, i'll give this a shot... I take it i'm allowed to answer more than one option?
1: Adventure/Rpg, Strategy, Simulators
2: Gameplay, How long the game lasts, Other (Based on other people's opinions of the game, such as magazine reviews and websites)
3: Don't know which version of PSO you mean, but i'll answer for Ep1&2:
Gameplay: 9/10, Graphics 6/10, 'Longness' (lol): 10/10, Sound: 5/10, How well the game comes together: (don't quite get it, but) 6/10
You should think of some more questions, i like questionnaires

1) All of them (Sorry i can't be of anymore help!)
2) Gameplay. It doesn't matter about the graphics or how long it lasts, the fact of the matter is it's the simple and short games of the good ol' days that still rule over anything you can buy for today's machines. Asteroids for example is still as addictive as ever, and i'm talking black and white with lines and dots!
3) Gameplay: 9
Graphics: 8
Longness: 7
Sound: 9
How well the game comes together: 9

how well the game comes together - 10, carries on from older stories whilst sticking with original story, and could go on for a very long time.

there you are, hope you do well at your course work!
Isn't this great? I found it in one of my old magazines. It's from an advert for PSO 1&2!
I never knew PSO 1&2 came out on GC the same month as Metroid Prime.
