I don't know how to spell it but it comes out in U.S. on August 13th! i think... i just read it in GamePro magazine and they commend it. as in it kicks ash... yeah.. majorly so BUY IT! or be lonely and bored!

Um, this game is already out. Lionheart already picked up his copy and he's probably playing right now (doesn't matter when you read this, he's probably still playing it). He says it rocks and I hope I can play it once he's done. But that will probably be a while. Maybe I'll take Skies of Arcadia instead... Anyway, isn't there another thread about the same thing out right now?

I just got it yesterday, and it is one of the best GC games I have.

The graphics are really,really good! The cel-shading was done very well. And, of course, the gameplay is great!

I didn't know it was 2 discs long! That must mean the game is quite large.

I am mad though, EBGames never gave me anything for preordering.

Oh yeah, I like this better than Skies of Arcadia. I dunno, everybody seems to love it, but It didn't hold my interest.

Okay I played it and the cel shading is AWESOME, but there are still some SERIOUS problems with the multiplayer. If you distance yourself from Player 1 too much you go off camera and you can't tell where you are. Then you get hit by enemies you can't see and die. No way to fix it either. AI for Genis and Collette isn't good either. They either use no spells at all or burn their TP till it's almost gone then do nothing. Very disturbing considering it's really fun otherwise.

Yeah, the multiplayer camera mode is a flaw, but I usually like my RPG's single player anyway .

As for Genis' AI, I don't have that problem. They always cast spells. You know you can set it so that is all they do....

I strongly think this is the best Gamecube RPG (I know, I know, there are only a handful, but it is even better than some PS2 rpg's).

I got my cousin, who really isn't in to games, to buy a Gamecube and this game. She won't stop playing now .
