The people who you allow to ruin your games are the dupe users. They are not the people hacking PSO. Very few of you will have met a proper hacker before and now most have left, aren't likely to.

Those are the cheaters you are talking about and not the hackers. The people who I know to have hacked this game, have only done so because they have played the game much longer than yourself and done most of what there is to do, so merely want to see what other things they can find to do.

in my not so humble opinion hackers do not deserve a break, they have ruined the game and even the respect of high levels (dam auto level 200 cheat) if anything hackers should be disrespected in all ways possible...i used to hack but now the only reason i would ever even think of cheating is to regain an item lost in an unfair way (fsod/scams) (basicly i find somone with an item of that type that is nice enough to let me dupe it...)

I would be interested to hear how hackers have ruined the game for you. It is the duping of items that have ruined the economy and the many other glitches, but not hacking. There are only a handful of hacked items that are used by people and they are very easily avoided.
I would be interested to hear how you used to hack. Bare in mind that entering a code on the action replay or using an in-game glitch is not hacking.

I dont thtink we should leave them alone for all the chaos and corruption they have caused to thousands of other people....If they cant play a game without cheating then dont play it at all.

What chaos and corruption has been caused by hacking? Some people may have received FSOD-X due to someone abusing a FSOD glitch, but that is a rare occurence. Unless you mean the corruption of the trade system, which again is due to duping and not hacking.

So the hacker who came up with the English translation code for the people who imported Ep3 and is currently working on a translation hack for PSOBB must die?
The hacker who found the method for unsealing a Sealed J-Sword (in mine and many other psow member's opinons) must die?
The hacker who made the anti-fsod ar code must die?
What have hackers done to you personally that makes you have this opinion? I haven't ever been affected by a hacker yet in pso, so can't see how all of you guys have had such horrible experiences with them :S

So because someone chooses to play the game differently to the suggested way (suggested by ST, but not enforced) they suck?
Most cheaters do end up not playing the game for long. Because they begin with the best things you can get, there is nowhere for them to aim to, so they become bored very quickly.
Hackers however, tend to spend more time on the game than any of you guys, as they try to find new hidden extras or ways in which they can challenge their hacking ability further.


On the subject of dupe users/other cheaters, they only ruin your game if you allow them to. Just make some legit friends and play with them on a ship away from the evil doers and their "chaos" and "corruption" need never effect you again

sorry Omar, change every instance that I used the word "Hacker" to read "Cheater" and then re-read it, it should then make sence
