I could deflect the handgun with my broadsword, maybe the rifle but the bullets in the rifle are probably AP and might break through my sword. If you can see where the gun is aimed, it's surprisingly easy to block a bullet, it's when you have half a second to react and block that it gets scary. But if you're charging the guy with the gun and you block a shot, he will get scared shitless, in a fight, dropping your guard that much (even if only for an instant) is the cause of your loss, so by scaring the gun wielder, you win. I hate guns by the way, I wish they had never been invented. They enable weaklings and people who have no skill in fighting to kill people, and generally they are used in an honorless fashion.

but its tru. just try and block a bullet with katanas tho. they r alot smaller than broadswords . i have one problem with train 2 block them tho. I DONT LIKE BEING SHOT AT. I mean even fake bullets hurt. and i been shot at enough where i used 2 live. there was about 5 drive bys on my road and 2 of them where wen i was walkin from the shops
