Finally! The moments when a rare drops!

Well, quite a while ago whilst playing online, I saw a Chain Sawd. I fell in love with it, and I instantly wanted one. So I checked what dropped it, then went on my quest to find one.

Two months later and about 150 cave runs after, I'm going through the Caves, minding my own business. I kill a Vulmer and carry on walking.... wait a sec, is that a red box?? :S No, my eyes weren't playing tricks, I have finally got a Chain Sawd.

The thing is, I probably won't even use the Chain Sawd, I just wanted it because it looks so damn cool. Also, whilst searching for this Chain Sawd I came across Red Daggers, which was a nice bonus. It's probably why I'm still playing PSO after all these years, the joy of finding something new, seeing that shiny red box drop and running over to it to see what it is.

Anyway, your probably wondering what the point of this thread is, well. It's basically just to share your little tales of item hunts, your emotions when you finally found the item of your desires. How long it took you to find it.

Now, I'm off to East and West Tower in my search for the J-Sword.

I kno exactly what u mean. I had the same thing with my Victor Axe. I wanted it just cuz it wuz an axe and i was goin thru the vr spaceship just to do episode 2 and after finding loads of DB sabers another rare item droped from a granz and i wuz thinking it wuz another db saber and i equiped it without checking and i waz like woohoo an axe! lol

Me and my good mate Chaos Shadow were playing Multi mode over my house, we killed the hard mode Dragon, and suddenly: MUSASHI! WOOHOO! I pelted it over there as fast as my virtual characters legs would go and grabbed it. It said something about twin swords, and i thought it was the Twin Sabers. I really wanted them...

Then, that fatefull day, in the seabeds, i leveled up. While checking my items, i saw my musashi swords were avaliable to use! I used them, and was a bit disappointed. I walked up tio one of those Sinow Zele dudes, used one combo of the Musashi and 'WHAO!' I smashed it up in one combo, whereas it had taken ages to kill them before, it took one combo. I was so pleased! I then went on to find a red item (dont remember it) with my new best mates.

finding a lavis cannon offline in my first ever ult caves run ^_^. i had no idea how rare it actuly was back then. after that i corupted and now im trying to get another

i agree when you get hard legit weps its a real accomplishment.
hacks/cheats are boring.

oh yer my story stag cut i know it isnt very strong comperderd to most but man when i seen ash with it i could only dream but i went online cube this week and was playin in caves with some other peeps i killed a guil shark and got knocked stubbeling into a red box it dropped i got up and tryed to use it big grin STAG CUT hmph i already found a twin brand and have it at + 60 so my stag cut is alot weaker at the mo.

I just found a REALLY cool item. I think its cool anyway.

I was just training my character to Lv50, and in Ruins 2 I came across a room, and 5 (I think) Delsabers came out. I had no chance, so I slaughtered one, and 2 seconds later, my screen was red. AWW CRAP! But it was a good thing!
I came back to the room, full health and Musashi +11 at the ready. SMASH, BOOM, WALLOP! I beat 3 of them to death, no prob. But the last one was difficult for some weird reason. This is the kinda coincidental bit, because I smashed it up, and there was a red box: Delsabers' Left Arm! WOOHOO!
Im about to change it into whatever it becomes, and it was weird because this morning I was looking at the enemy parts chart here and saw the Delsaber things, and really wanted to get one.

My most wanted weapon is a lavis cannon so i can transform it into double cannon(my most wnted weapon ever)i get lots of rare items but i just alays wanted a double cannon more than anything thats what ive been saving my grinders up for.
