i hav just made it into ultimate mode on the offline mode and i notice that the wepons u find hav a % against hit is this a new monster type or somthig else?

Well, most weapons have percents against a type of creature. For instance in normal mode, a cane has 5% against A.beasts, or a Handgun has a 10% against native creatures. Does this help??

It give's you a little more hit percentage(sp?)..
i thought it was for ATA or for Criticial Hits..

I think he's talking about hit.

Hit is an extra % that shows it's gaurentee of actually hitting (In addition with the accuracy) and also the chance of the weapon's special working.

The hit percent only adds to your ATA and nothing else.

Unlike the other %s that you can have on a weapon, hit is not actually a percentage. It just adds the number given to your ATA iirc (35% hit actually means +35 ATA for example).
