Gamecube players do not join the same lobbies as Xbox players, they are done on 2 completely different sets of servers. Xbox players can also only join the regional lobbies they currently reside in (E.g. Either European, American, or Japanese lobbies, not all of them). Gamecube players have free will to move across European, American and Japanese lobbies.

Xbox has voice chat, therefore no need to fork out cash on a keyboard, and no stopping in the middle of a game to type something out. You can voice ban people who are pests.

Hmm ive thought alot about this too, both console versions have its pros and cons...

XBOX ;

+ Headset Communicator.
+ 2 Months Free with purchase of game.
+ XBOX has its own harddrive, so larger patches/updates can be downloaded.
- XBOX has its own harddrive, so its easier to hack -_-

GAMECUBE;

+ Players can freely travel between all the servers.
+ Gamecube has less hackers i guess...
+ Gamecube is the first to recieve new quests/downloads.
- Gamecube requires either a modem adapter, which does not come with the console.
- Gamecube requires a keyboard to talk easily, which does not come with the console, even then it cant match XBOX's Headset.

I cant really think of anymore, i own the Gamecube version, but i would probably say the XBOX is better, mainly due to the headset, and the fact you dont have to fork out extra cash for a modem adapter and keyboard.

--thats all down to opinion! Where are your stats to prove GC has less hackers? Thats a ludicrous statement. GC seems to get more updates before xbox... thats cos the GC version was released before the XBox version. The XBox version is only one update behind now, meaning that Xbox has been getting quests at a faster rate than the GC. The Xbox having a hard drive means that it can get download quests. You can also level hack using AR codes with the GC version... with the XBox, you need a mod chip to hack, making it harder!

I have both versions the GC and XBox... from a neutral point of view, I honestly believe (in my opinion) that the Xbox version is better...

Proof that the GC version is better than the Xbox version? If thats what your saying, then that view is sorely flawed. Why are there more people on the GC version than the XBox version? Because the GC is a Japanese console with a huge fan base in Japan, hence the reason why GC has outsold XBox in Japan. Therefore, if Japanese customers wanted to play PSO, the majority of them would have to be playing on the GC version, even if it isnt as good as the XBox version, they dont have the choice.... Just cos more people play on the GC doesnt make it better by a long shot!

Does the fact that more people watched Spiderman at the box office make it a better film than say Resevoir Dogs or Magnolia? Not by a long shot!
