Who prefers launchers to rifles? Most people seem to think that rifles are waaay better and that launchers are just for show, but I like being able to hit multiple enemies at once, and even if they're not as powerful, they can often rid a room of monsters quicker than a rifle type weapon. Any agree/disagree?
Edit: Oh yeah, by launchers i mean spread type weapons, such as the Final Impact and Meteor Strike e.t.c. =/

Does Iron/Panzer Faust count as a Launcher or Spread? I havent seen it on the Gamecube version yet... strange. Anyway, from what i can remember of it on Dreamcast - It rocked!

launchers are held like a real life bazooka (not inferno bazooka lol) on the shoulders, thats how u tell a launcher.
and to answer your question, id say rifles are better, because in ULT the enemies just come to fast towards you and u get hit when using a spread type weapon....unless its a spread needle, there brilliant, so fast

I prefer launcher-type weapons (until I get my hands on a Spread Needle).
The reason the Spread Needle is so fast is because it's actually a rifle-type weapon that just happens to fire like a shot-series weapon. Yes. It is genius (BUT THEY TONED DOWN THE POWER!). It also aggrivates me because they don't let Hunters use them anymore.

I found that rather annoying too. I used to used to use it on Dark falz as my HUmar on the DC version as a longe range weapon. I remember no one seemed to let you on if you had a shot-type weapon.

i like rifles more, they seem much more usefull and the "best weapon in the game" is a rifle(FS)......and who needed a shot id you have the RIFLE"spread needle"

nothing seems to match up to FS and a charge mech :0 ther ultimate combo
