Are you connecting your Broadband Adapter straight into your modem? Or do you want to share the connection with your PC aswell as Gamecube through using a Lan Card?

I have a network card in the PC as the modem is a USB freserve/wannado (whatever they are now) and the e'net cable is plugged there.

Just thought Id add something. I had the same problem when I was setting up, turned out I had the wrong type of ethernet cable. Instead of having crossover I had direct. But I went out and bought this little adapter, which can change the signals vise versa. Only cost me 50p, so it might be worth the buy! This way you can have both types of cable for all situations. Just ask at your local computer store and Im sure they should be able to help you out with one
