Sonic Adventure 1, because you could run around two and stuff unlike the crappy Stage 1 Stage 2 stuff
. They are all good games but I had fun running around with the cars

i gotta agree with that adventure 1&2 are the best, in my view.

Sonic & Knuckles jammed with Sonic 3 was just the best. They were both big games, great levels and great music.
Putting them together means you should/had to play Sonic 3 again to make sure you got the Hyper Chaos Emeralds for the very last boss of S&K + S3. Then you could play Sonic 3 with Knuckles and find areas you couldn't before. It was just so inovative.
SA1 did bring some new things to light. The chao (which are my favourite part of most Sonic games now) and the 3D element. But it just wasn't as fun as S&K.

Ive got to say i think that the original sonic is the best. I spent so much time playing it when i got it for my megadrive ^_^

Out of the games on this list, it would be Sonic and Knuckles/Sonic 3.
The best Sonic game out of all time, though, is Knuckles' Chaotix.

Sonic 3D is the best. I've got it on PC, NOT the Megadrive and it so badly rulz. My favourite though is Sonic Advance 3.

But Arsenal players manage to do it.
