Do I need a different mem card to play ep 3? I mean can I put ep3 data on my Ep1&2 memory card?

You can put ep3 on an ep1&2 card. You'll have enough room for both.

It is recommended that you actually put them on the same memory card as you keep all of your sonic team files, that way you can get some rare cards when you search event file.

Also this way if you play online playing on the same memory cards will allow you to have the same guild card files as your ep 1 and 2 file. In other words the 2 guild card files update eachother everytime you connect.
