Best Hunter type?

Beginning Advantage:HUnewearl
HUmar

ULT Advantage:HUcast
HUcaseal

My point is that HUmars and HUnewerls have an easy time on normal and all with the techs,but later on ULT androids have the advantage with their high def and pow.

HUnewearls are the worst characters early on and only really begin to shine when they have enough mst for Level 20 shifta/deband/jellen/zalure and their stats are finally developed to a decent enough level for them to be comfortable in ult.

Part of the reason for HUcasts/HUcaseals being great for cmode is because they are very strong at lower levels, whereas HUneys suck.

When i play C-Mode with my friends its 3 HUcast and a HUmar
The HUcast are doing all the figthing and the HUmar is backing us up with some magic and resta.. it got us till the end so its a decent tactic

Firstly, lets deal with your "useless in general" comment. HUcast's ATA is not low. As anyone with a high level HUcast (or even just someone who has looked at the stats of the different classes) will tell you, HUcast's ATA is not low. As has already been said in this section by Kef:

191 ATA is more than enough to hit without missing with not so rare weapons, and I mean in Ruins or GDV.

Also Android can use S-Parts v2.01 (very rare, though) to boost their ATA by 15, over their max, making HUcast's max ATA 206, this is deadly, I tell you.

Even without S-Parts, a HUcast's max ATA is 191. Where in the game is 191 not high enough?! My HUmar currently has 186 ATA and barely misses in ruins/seabed, so can't quite see how an extra 5 ATA is bad!

HUcasts are extremely useful for cmode. In TA games they are almost always present and in normal cmode games they are also of great help. Head over to Alcyone 6 and ask the people there if they think that HUcasts are useless for cmode. Or even better, let's look at the PSOW suggested class per stage guide, which is generally regarded as the best: http://www.planetdreamcast.com/psoworld/...&artid=953.

As you will see, HUcasts are seen as important for every stage. Now let's say that this guide and all the knowledgable cmode players at Alcyone are wrong, I speak from personal experience when I say that HUcasts are awesome for cmode! My HUcast's time is my fastest despite being one of the first characters I took through cmode and I only recall missing lots in the dreaded sword stages, which was then sorted by swapping mags with the RA in the team.

If you still maintain that you think HUcasts are useless, then I cannot help you, but please don't tell people what you are saying is correct as almost all knowledgable PSO players disagree with you.

Which Hunter doesn't hit things??? The lowest ATA of the HUs is HUcast with 191 (read above...).

Power is useless without accuracy, nobody can quote me wrong there.

That stuff about me not looking at character stats before making decisions is a load of tripe. I made my decisions based on my own findings, using characters that have hit lv158 without material consumption. As my memory is absolutely appalling I can't actually quote the stats of corrupted characters, but I do recall incidents where I failed to hit absolutely anything with my HUcast, in C-Mode or otherwise (in fact I think I'm the only person who can claim to have completely missed a frozen Pal Shark in C-Mode level 4, with a Ranger's Mag, with a 15 Hit Brand, with a Normal-Normal-Normal combo!), whereas I found that my HUcaseal certainly hit for much less damage, but I only ever recall ten misses in her short C-Mode career, and more hits than you've had hot dinners when not in C-Mode...

Evidently in C-Mode (see above) and evidently when you aren't using weapons with Hit (again, my HUcast screwed up an attack against a Tollaw with his Red Saber...)
Also, I can see a perfectly good point in the game where 191 ATA is not high enough. GUNS! Give a HUcast a gun and he's actually far more likely to shoot himself in the foot than to hit a frozen Ul Gibbon (and my Ranger's missed those ones with a total of 291 ATA using her Snow Queen).

HUcasts are the sole character that was almost MADE for Challenge Mode. When you've got 3 HUcasts and a FOne, you're practiaclly unstopable. (Except the FOne, who some might remember as being easily slaughtered by Belras.... )

I don't really play as HUcast because I is a HUmar because I like having resta as it is dead useful when fighting dark Falz or Olga flow because I can heal a LOT of times instead of only being able to heal 40 times (Monomites, Di's, Tri's and Star,s) I can heal about 100 times (not that I need to...lol) in a boss battle. When I ever do play as a Android I tend to lose on bosses due to running out of healing items :'(
Granted, they have high stats but I never seem to do as well with thyem in general. One decent thing though is you don't have raise you mag in mind so you can have an insane amount of attack and accuracy

That's the point of them. And when you get to Ultimate, HUcasts are exceedent.
