on ultimate for the boss, when i tried using techs they didn't seem to work very well, so use a slicer, they kick so much ass against the caves boss

i dunno but i would use Gizonde if ya have a high lvl on that one and ofcourese resta then maybe a good weapon i dont have that many weps and im in a low lvl so dont blame me if its not working

As far as the Caves boss is concerned, use a piercing weapon such as a Snow Queen. Remember, aim at the tail when standing next to the head.
I actually used an Iron Faust the last time I mashed Dal Ra Lie though so that isn't a great example of a case-in-point...

the wackness is gi-zonde with me hunewearl my hu cast was lv 72 when he got in caves ult. with 422 def thry done lots 200-450 damage per hit.now when he is lv 81 with d-parts he has 502 def and now thay do 97-220 per hit. i can almost kill most enamys in caves ult in 1 rally,doing 289-322 per hit 5 times.my slots have hp up 120 and def up 60 (god/hp ligit) and i got to caves2 after about 30 mins.

I finally beat Dal Ral Lie (Ult Caves boss), at Lv83 (with only 2 out of 10 scape dolls used, and the last one was a purposed suicide attempt with my Musashi's beserk special!), so I'll help you peeps if you are HUmars.
Caves 2 and 3 are hell, and you WILL die repeatedly, even with Jellen/Zalure! Bloody unexpected fire mines that rip 3/4 of your health per hit....
Anyway, I strongly suggest getting your most powerful slicer and using this everytime hes swimming along side. Magic techs suck ass here. Make sure you lower his defense all the time with Zalure. When he comes onto the barge, do a Weak, Strong, Strong combo. Quick weapons like Duble Sabers and Twins are great here. Have a MAG (Bhirava is what I used) that cast invincibitly when the bar fills if possible. Bring Dimates and Difluids. Make sure you have maore than half health at all times, unless you want to suicide the boss.
I used these techniques to rip him apart. And the cheeky bugger left me 2800 meseta!!!

Yes, but you can get better piercing weapons (Burning Visit for example).
