Like Serpent has said, the reverse is also true
mimas Wrote:That stuff about me not looking at character stats before making decisions is a load of tripe. I made my decisions based on my own findings, using characters that have hit lv158 without material consumption. As my memory is absolutely appalling I can't actually quote the stats of corrupted characters, but I do recall incidents where I failed to hit absolutely anything with my HUcast, in C-Mode or otherwise (in fact I think I'm the only person who can claim to have completely missed a frozen Pal Shark in C-Mode level 4, with a Ranger's Mag, with a 15 Hit Brand, with a Normal-Normal-Normal combo!), whereas I found that my HUcaseal certainly hit for much less damage, but I only ever recall ten misses in her short C-Mode career, and more hits than you've had hot dinners when not in C-Mode...
I have also taken both a HUcast and HUcaseal through C-Mode, but have not had problems with either of them with regards to hitting.
The HUcaseal hits more, but the HUcast doesn't miss as many times as you have with your's. If that were the case, then this topic wouldn't be full of people disagreeing with you

Again, I have never missed a full combo as my HUmar with 186 ATA (And I have been hunting Milla for over a year now, so have lots of experience with Tollaws). I can only assume that your HUcast's ATA is not maxed or your Tollaw's have been eating Evasion Mats.
mimas Wrote:Also, I can see a perfectly good point in the game where 191 ATA is not high enough. GUNS! Give a HUcast a gun and he's actually far more likely to shoot himself in the foot than to hit a frozen Ul Gibbon (and my Ranger's missed those ones with a total of 291 ATA using her Snow Queen).
Snow Queen only shoots once. The 1st hit of a combo is the least accurate. That is why it is best to only make a SQ from a FS with hit.
Unless you are talking about rubbish mechguns, then a HUcast won't miss very often anywhere with maxed ATA when playing offline. If however, you are referring to online play, then why the hell would a HUcast be using a gun?
You seem to be clutching at straws now mimas. Before you were saying that a HUcast was completely useless due to their ATA and now you are saying that they are only useless against enemies in Ep2 with high EVP when using a gun.
