I wouldn't know really
If you flip a coin and get heads it would be luck, and winning the lottery would be luck. I can't see winning the lottery happening for a reason :S

No there is no such thing as luck.
But if there was, I would have bad luck, so maybe the world just hates me ^^

If you aselect grab a cookie from a jar filled with 50 vanilla cookies and 50 chocolate cookies and they are well mixed you'll have a chance of 1/2 of getting your favourite chocolate cookie.
e.g. you pick one... you get you fave cookie right away... you got lucky. No doubt about it.
