My mag just changed into a sato, my fomarl LotuS had it. It is black colour like a shadow, she is green. I wondered if anyone else had a black one? I have not seen any before and I thought mags were the same colour as the character? Just wondering. It looks quite nice I wondered if anyone had any other colours or if they are all the same when they are rare mags? I wondered if i should raise a rati now as well cos I hear people say thats good is it? The one i have is ok it keeps me safe sometimes when my heath is low not for long though!!
Anyway I gave it my fomar instead.

Well, when you first create a character, the mag is the same colour as the costume you have. If you chose one of the costumes at the end that do not have a colour (ie special costumes) then you will get a random coloured mag.
That mag is now stuck with that colour for it's life. Whenever you raise it a level or new evolution, the new mags colour will still be the same colour. There is no way to change the colour, apart from raising a totally new mag with the colour you want.
Every mag changes its colour to the same colour as the previous mag. But they all vary on how much colour shows through. For example, the Nidra rare mag is a red colour. You can only tell the original mags colour from the tiny sting on the tip of it's tail. With Sato, all of the body is the same colour. Bana, the little ball of light changes colour.
I don't have a rati or sato so I can't help you there. Maybe someone else can illuminate you

Woah fast reply i was surprised. So i've decided to reply to your reply just as fast!!
You must also have nothing better to do-well actually i do i'm at work, just bored!
I have stopped going on the internet at home since my gamecube is permanently plugged up!
I think i am going to try make a white mag to go with my black one. Thanks for the help, if anyone knows any cool looking mags that would look good on my Fomar let me know.

lmao shatos are the best mags arond, i have a black one, a pink one, and a green one and of cors my faveret gray one, i have a lv1 FOmaol slot that whenever im done geting a shato i delet the fomarol and make a difrent coler one. shatos are sooo cute........

ahaah my rati is awesome looks like a fish!!! its like red/grey/orange and then these yellow spikes that shoot out in 2 directions (its a twin mag by the by). so i just put on my soul reaver and i look like death when im in a dark room. ahaha... its the uberest

I am going to try and make a rati now i think they look cool. Or maybe a new sato, before i knew how to do it properly i gave it loads of wrong items so its stats are a bit everywhere!

I think some costume coulours arent avaiable for their mag.
