good boy, you know it makes sense... considering from what I've heard you can't transfer characters over to pso+ that and online play is much more fun than offline, and far more convenient that multiplay... all those split screens and inability to take a pipe without everyone else

Red rings don't exist in the current games, but the code is still there,as is true with many other hacks.
As for a cool looking shield, I've always liked the Delsaber's shield. You can find it at fairly low levels (hard i think), and it'll be the best sheild you'll be able to untill around level 100. If I remember coorectly it's better that the purple ring and looks better too. Also it has great defense against Dark.

My personal favorite for the higher levels is the Stand Still Sheild, which has better defense than the Red Ring.

Ragol ring is achieved via the online single player quest "Seat of the Heart," only if you followed through the sue/bernie sub plot on the offline quests and told Sue your name on the Doctor Osto's research ^_^

Red ring however... is dropped by Dark Falz on ultimate... but sega have set the drop ratings to 0% so good luck finding one which isn't Action Replay material

I'll believe that about red ring when I see some proof not just what someone else told me

^_^ welp ok then... have fun beating ultimate falz time and time again, until you finally realise that it isn't happening. Also note how only people who have a million and one hacked items are the only people running around wearing one online. These are the sorts of people who do 5000-10000 damage.

It is also qouted in every drop chart list ever created that sonic team have set the drop rates to 0%

Another important thing to look at, is how low a level it takes to equip the red ring... probably one of the reasons sonic team doesn't want us having that item. With that said, to each his own view point, enjoy hunting that red ring...

I never said I was going to look for one, I believe the drop rate was set to 0% online, but in order to set it to 0% offline they would have had to put that on the disc before the game came out, and that just a ridicolous thing to do
