I like gta on the xbox because of the custom soundtracks, but im gonna get san andreas on the ps2 untill its out on the box.

LOL, PS2 IS over-rated and does everything out of what their really worth... and its honestly all because of GTA. If no-one bought GTA: SA... i reckon Sony wud be outdone quite quickly. Could you imagine it!

As for GTA: SA coming out on Xbox... give it about a year minimum!

Here is a list of some of the new features in San andreas;

• Improved character animations for things like fighting, jacking cars and shooting.
  
• You now have the ability to swim, either on the waters surface or even underwater.
  
• New stamina system, you will need to eat to keep your stamina up, but eat too much junk food and your character will get fat and fatigue faster.
  
• You can work out at the gym
  
• Personalise your character by geting new hair cuts and tattoos
  
• Improved NPC AI, peds will iteract with each other and be a lot more 'life like'
  
• Your physical appearance can have an impact on the gameplay, if you are overweight you may not be able to complete some missions, and if you arefat or have a stupid hair cut, people will taunt you on the streets
  
• Improved police AI
  
• Vastly overhauled GTA III graphics engine
  
• Greatly improved draw distances
  
• Loads of new vehicles such as bmx's, mountain bikes, police bikes, lowriders, full winged dodo, and even a monster truck! It is even rumored to contain farming vehicles like combine harvesters.
  
• Lots more building interiors to explore
  
• Ability to rob houses (Rumored to be an R3 mission)
  
• 4-6 times bigger than vice city, as well as the 3 main cities there are numorous small towns as well as a desert and farmland
  
• Fully operational casino, and the ability to own and run your own casino
  
• Four person drive-by

Okay these are features that are RUMORED to be in the game, some may be more true than others:

• There are supermarkets you can shop in
  
• You can put stuff in the boot of your car
  
• You can smoke and drink
  
• You can learn boxing,martial arts and street fighting at different gyms
  
• There is a bike race down mount chilliad if you get to the top with a mountain bike
  
• You can start forest fires and put them out with a fire eqtinguisher
  
• Foliage is randomly generated so the terrain is ever changing
  
• Weather will be very specific, meaning it can be rainy or cloudy in one place and sunny in another
  
• Hitchhikers can be picked up
  
• You can steal a Tow Truck and impound people's cars, and bring them to the Impound lot, so Tow Trucks are completely functional
  
• There are Police Impounds where your car can be impounded if you leave it on the street too long. BUT you can find the yard and steal it back!
  
• Car Jacking will be a little different in that some people will still flee from you once you jack them, but others will fight you for their precious rides! The same is true when robbing houses. You never know if you will encounter a defenseless old lady or a Serial killer type when you rob their house

I bought the game today. Very nice game the grpahics have been improved a bit mainly in the weather effects in the skies. Considering the size of the game the frame rate is pritty good for ps2! It is alot of fun annoying people then gettin chased on a bmx lol
