RAcasts may have the 'worst ranger ATA', but it's only SLIGHTLY lower. RAcast max ATA is only TWO less than a RAmarl, because S-Parts 2.01 adds 15 ATA outside of your base.Red Ring does the same, but that doesn't count because it isn't released legitimately yet . RAcaseals have similar stats to RAmarls, but don't have any techs. Pointless to make IMO, unless you're new to the game and need that extra defense (which is useless on a Ranger if you know what you're doing, I might add). RAcaseals also look ugly with their dull metallic frocks and gormless facial expression, but if you like that kind of thing then you're welcome to have it . RAcasts are capable of looking cute and cool .

A Soul Eater on my RAcast makes it look like an Ill Gill ^^. With an S-Rank Scythe, or another decent multihitting melee weapon you can play like a HUcast with very nice ATA.

Rangers are capable of doing the most damage per second actually since Needles are so overpowered.

I'm offline only and I managed to get my RAcast lvl 85, I have no problem in raising him. He's tougher than other characters but he hardly differs from a HUmar in growth.

There is a difference - HUmars don't get nearly as much ATA within a set period of time.

Hes big, chunky, does the most damage with ranged weapons and has the second highest ATA. Freeze and paralyze mines make him a very formidable ranger. He was nick-named "Bucket o'bolts" by my friends.

I always loved my rangers, hell even my name is taken from one of the most powerful guns in existance.

RAcast can be frozen, without S/D he does not have the highest attack... online however.

...said otherwise; RAcast gains more HP, ATA and DFP than the HUmar... though he has the lack of J/Z which doesn't bother if you're comfortable playing as a raw chunk of flesh. I managed to take my HUmar all the way to the Ultimate Ruins untill I first laid a finger on J/Z with him.

Offline mode is rediculously easy. Sure Humans/Newmans can kill faster offline, but who cares when there is no challenge at all? ANY class in the game is capable of owning in offline mode, so only online mode comparisons count.

With Rangers, I think there are only 2 real options: RAmarl if you like humans and RAcast if you want an android. RAmar is like a compromise between a RAmarl and RAcast, whereas a RAcaseal is like a worser RAcast (sorry, defense doesn't count as a good ranger stat ). RAmars and RAcaseals are some of the ugliest characters in the game, too.

Come again? DFP can actually make all the difference between getting killed and staying alive for long enough to use a Trimate (especially if you like using short-ranged guns, or you're in an area with enemies that have ranged attacks or movement abilities like Sinow Zoa's leaping thing). I speak from long-term experience.
RAcaseal has a higher ATA than RAcast as well, which again can make all the difference between a hit and a miss, especially when the enemies prove to be particularly evasive (Gee and Canabin are just two examples - they both seem to have a ridiculous EVP).
And there are ways to make a RAcaseal not look ugly. Give her head #3 and you'll see my point.
With RAmars, their ATA is the highest in the game, and there are ways to make him look decent (even if it does involve giving him hair option #9 and making him run around with a faceplate).

Actually DFP gets you KILLED more easily, since you won't get knocked on the floor earlier and when you're playing online you can get hit immediately after. Plus getting EIGHTY-TWO (DFP advantage a RAcaseal has over a Racast) less damage is NOTHING. Like I've said before, a good ranger will rarely get hit, and even if he does I don't think 82 damage is going to mean death, but if that's the case then you're too weak to even be there anyway.

I hope you're joking about finding it hard to hit Gees and Canabins. When you miss on those it's usually because your bullet has physically missed since they move quickly, not because of low ATA. I'd also like to mention that a RAcaseal only has a 7 ATA advantage over a RAcast, but this is in exchange for the 175 ATP advantage the RAcast has over the RAcaseal. 224 ATA (or even 239 with S-Parts 2.01) is more than enough...and later on the huge ATP advantage will be more useful if you're gonna be hitting with every attack anyway. High natural ATP is also very nice to have, since Shifta only amplifies that.

RAmar's ATA is the highest in the game, but it's more than you'll ever need. My RAcast's ATA is FAR from max, and I have no problems hitting in Ruins/Seabeds in multiplayer with a Charge Shot/Zalure Needle/Frozen Shooter/Yas 9k/whatever. Beyond a certain point, more ATA is just overkill.

BTW changing a RAcaseal's head does not get rid of the metallic frock.

favourite class. I technically think they are all great in some way but Hunters are by far my favourite ^_^.
