Thanks mimas. I'm glad somebody besides a few others understands my opinions and point of view.

In any event, Gjl, a high level Jellen would be very good for Caves, especially Ult. for a force. Obviously, since the FO doesn't have the most HP, good to be able to weaken your enemies. That and a God/Arm eh? That would, indeed, sound like a perfect combo. to go through Caves. Unfortunately, I'm a HUmar though, so I don't have the most powerful techs to hit from afar. Well, not UNFORTUNATELY, but...bah you get it. ^____^

Even Jellen 15 makes a huge difference. The red techs (Shifta/Jellen) are better than blue techs (Deband/Zalure).

Don't refer to them as the red and the blue techs... combined they're far more lethal. Jellen with Deband and Shifta with Zalure.

And it is not less effective at all:

for example Jellen 20 lowers attack with 20% and Zalure 20 lowers defence with 20% if an enemy has 100 dfp and 200 atp, the atp will now be 160 and dfp would be 80. It's just all about the percentages.

RAmar - Hildeblue Head (for my Fomar), Meteor Smash

FOmar - Ice Staff/Fire Scepter/Storm Wand (collection), Club Of Zumarian (collection), Blue Merge, Yellow Merge,

HUnewearl - Supressed Gun, Cure/Shock, anything else thats good.

It doesn't seem to be going so well. Some people would say that I'm putting too much time into finding this weapon, I'm not one of them. I've seen this weapon before and it is pretty damn cool, and quite powerful. If that's not criteria enough to search for one, I don't know what is. Anyways, I've gone through Caves 1 Addicting Food quite a few times now, as well as a few regular Caves. Why won't those darn Vulmers just give me a CHAIN SAWD! lol. Well, in any event, there might be one upside, I might find a Red Sword from a Govulmer. ^____^;;

Yeah I suppose so. But the fact that so damn many Vulmers won't just give me a Chain Sawd is so absurd. UGH!

The droprates are all so high because the Ultimate is the place to be and the place to get the best weapons... you'll be staying there because there is no stage higher. ST just gives you a reason to play more, be happy. Normal mode rares are so rare that you'll just go fast to hard mode. Hard mode is not so special... specials are easy in the hard mode... in the very hard mode they're easy too... once in the Ultimate they're a lot tougher. PSO encourages you to play in the Ultimate, the game is partly meant to be played online where more "less frequent enemies" appear more often. For example the east tower and west tower that provides more Gibbles, Gi Gue's and those plants. That's why droprates offline for "less frequent enemies" can be so rediculously high. But hey, there's nothing you can do about it... go online, play more or eventually buy PSO+.
