i'm almost certain that they split the tp recharge % between the 3 hits so the total % for each press of the button is 6% with either a raygun or a vulcan and since the rayguns have better range and accuracy wouldn't they be better?
and i'm still not completely giving up on the mahu, but now if i don't get one it's okay and if i get one then it's better
by the way Gynn Rei you said that you FOmar has a problem with hitting with vulcans so if you want to get a mag with a really good accuracy for your FOmar do this:
1. give your greenill RAmar a mag
2. feed it antiparalysis until lvl 10
3. it evolves to kalki, if not, you screwed up
4. feed antidotes until POW is lvl 5 AND ALMOST 6, then do antiparalysis until MIND is lvl 3 OR ALMOST to 4
5. it should be level 35 now and evole to mitra, if not, you screwed up
6. feed antiparalysis (only DEX will go up, and by alot: 0.2 lvl's per item)
7. it evoles to kaitabha, if not, surprise! you screwed up!!
8. feed it antidotes until level 200, then give it to your FOmar
this will make a mag with 188 DEX and the fish, light pillar, and shifta/deband moves; this is the way i've found to give the least possible lvl's to things that aren't DEX. of course a level 200 FOmar only needs 50 DEX on a mag to max out ATA, but your a long way from there; still though, but maybe after 100 DEX lvl's you'll want to give it some difluids for MIND or dimates for POW
note: these directions for a mag will work for any greenill, bluefull, pinkal, whitill or oran ranger, but not for any other ID rangers, any forces, or any hunters
How do you guys know this stuff?!
Too confusing :S

whiteninja Wrote:and also... mags with 188 DEX are also very good things, yes, 188 may be a little overboard but if you need it to equip a hp or tp recharge weapon and and not get misses all the time it's worth it
the shifta/deband is one of the better moves for a mag too in general because half the classes can't use those moves at all and it can be used in multiplayer to do pb combo attacks, for example the dolphin and the shifta/deband done at the same time does alot more damage, and does a really strong shifta and deband on both the characters, furthermore, when used in a chain of pb attacks the it can do a shifta/deband that's as strong as a lvl 50 would be if there was such a thing; the other mag moves all suck anyway, the snake doesn't do enough damage, the moose only hits one enemy, and the resta... just use a trimate I'm not online and duh... I rather have Estlla, Pilla and something else... maybe the focus attack or resta. Shifta and Deband lvl 22 is worthless nonetheless. To combine mag attacks everyone needs to do different attacks from my experience. lvl 22 is only usefull for Racaseal, Racast, Hucast, Hucaseal, Humar, Ramar.
Quote:one time i had a low level FOnewearl, something like 20 or so, with 4 elf/arms and one of those mags she could use the inferno bazooka, didn't do much damage but could use the special pretty well and it was cool because they're supposed to be around lvl 180 before they could use that
I don't want to equip an inferno bazooka if I'm to weak to use it effectively.
Quote:right now i have a RAmar, he's lvl 70 and his ATA is maxed, he uses a dark raygun can take out 95% of the enemies in very hard with a three part special attack combo
Dark was an istant kill move right?... then it might be good to have ATA but it's worthless if it hits an the special doesn't work. Many specials you can get on a weapon just plain suck. And why would you want maxed ATA already. My RAmarl is doing fine with her 45% hit Final Impact, she has 282 ATA.
Quote:the point of having an all DEX mag is to get the specials to hit, the regular and heavy attacks hit well enough on their own. to "deliver the punch", as you said, a force is supposed to use techs not weapons, which is why a mag and weapon that allow you to recharge tp easily are good things for forces. if my suggesting that mag offended you in some way i'm sorry but i still think that DEX mags are great
So much DEX is a waste of points, if you had equipped 4 god/arms you could at least spend the gained mag lvls on 120 power. This way of thinking is much more effective. Forces deal damage through MST, my mag provides my power... I have around 1150 MST with my FOmar. I rather do much damage than stealing alot of Tp and doing minimal damage with my techs.
Quote:now that that's over, i didn't know that the mahu attacks multiple enemies so thanks for telling me that because that does make it seem better than a raygun
The Mahu splits in 3 cards just like a spread shot splits 5 shots.

yes, Cards do go 1-1-3. I tested it myself recently.
Everything happens for a reason.

It's bad that it only does a multiple hit in the end.

Hey - at least it gives you a multihit unlike the other Force weapon types.

Like which, I can only imagine the Hitogata, Dancing Hitogata and Gal Wind... and the book of Hitogata is damn hard to find.
