I'm finding it hard to make my adapter actually work i have brought a RJ45 enternet cable and have stuck each end to the gamecube and my enet out. I'm using NTL broadband. But i have no idea how to set up the network stuff it would help if someone could tell me what to do first and then where to find the information (example: where you would find the IP address)
If anyone would spend a few minites of there life to help me i would be very thankful.

Hey Aaron,
Are you connecting your gamecube to the net via your pc's LAN card (or even a router?) or are you linking from your Gamecubes broadband adapter directly to your modem? The reason i ask is that it requires different types of ethernet cable for each method.

k cool, it should be fine in that case. Plug one end of the cable into ya gamecube and the other into the modem and your away. You don't really have to change the settings at all just make sure your gamecude is set to DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuartion Protocol) so it is assigned an ip adresss automatically and it should work. Sometimes you might find you have to turn your modem off and then on again once youve linked it upto your gamecube (this is a pain if you use the same net connection for your pc as you keep having to unplug everything each time you wanna play pso)

"could not connect to the network.
Failed to create an IP address from DHCP.
DHCP server may not exsit or may be down."
