This strikes me as a bit odd. My FOnewm/Bluefull found a Vjaya in VHard Caves a little while ago... since this character couldn't equip it I gave it to my HUmar (finally I found a rare partisan with more power than his soul eater, yay!). I grabbed 5000 meseta and went to test it in the forest, but it didn't seem to work right. Every extra attack I did only did about as much damage as a heavy attack (slightly less, actually), and I lost no meseta in the process. I tried this many times but nothing special happened. What's the problem with it? Is this true of all Charge weapons (because I've never used a Charge weapon full-time before)?

Well, Vjaya (or however you spell it) sucks away 10,000 per special hit (I think) for 3X damage? Not sure about that one.
But normal Charge weapons (Charge Vulcans etc) take 200 per hit.

That's right, Vjaya's special is not Charge, so take a lot of mesetas as it drains 10 000 mesetas per hit, whether you hit one monster, 5 monsters or none.

Vjayas are very common for me, the last time I really got into PSO V1 was last year during the summer, aren't Vjayas common rares?

Common for Bluefull, I suppose. I found it on a caves run (Addicting Food quest, to be precise... in which I also found two photon drops and a couple of grinders and mats... so far it's been a good day
).
10,000? ...wow. They aren't kidding when they say it's for the wealthy. :ermm:

I have a brionic, even though I can can't use it yet...but a friend of mine had a vyjya or whatever and he loved it...he had meseta coming out of everywhere so he'd just play around with it.

I think I've found three of those Brionacs so far, but I haven't really made use of them; the Soul Eaters some of my characters use are more powerful. But the Vjaya seems to be slightly more powerful... this is a good thing, as I was able to move that Soul Eater over to my RAmar (with whom I blew my chances in Hard mode for finding any special quest rare and am now working on a Ragol Ring in VHard). Bluefulls seem to find Partisans, I think, and hey, I like Partisans - but why is it that no rare partisan (that I've found so far) is equippable by anyone other than a Hunter? Hey, I'd love to give a Brionac to my RAmarl, for instance... but nope. It strikes me as odd that characters like my two Rangers can equip regular partisans, but not rare ones (except the Soul Eater of course).

Why give a ranger a melee weapon at all? If you need to hit more than one enemy at a time, learn to use a shot. :p
