Does anyone have any special techniques to find rare items more often?
I've heard the "Beat (Time) Theory" and one about giving a monster a status ailment before you kill it... Has anything worked for you?

PSO Ep I & II - GCN

Nope. The only suggestions I could give are piping for rare monster items..Just keep looking, whatever item you're looking for, keep killing the monster that drops it...over and over and over. That's all I got. ^_____^;;

Piping? You mean telepiping/ryuker back and forth until a rare monster appears?

The drop rates are straight from the game data too, so I'm pretty sure that debunks the beat time theory. It's all up to chance in the end.

you could say that but as time goes by the drop rate increases so take your time through levels and go back to town as much as possible in order to get the most rares possible, however you cant just sit in town and increase the rate, or run in circles you have to be doing something and it only drops to a certain amount, taking your time, picking up every item and going back to town to sell all the items you aquire should slow you down enough to pick up more then a fair share or rares, tho getting some of the stronger and less seen monsters to drop stuff is a bit harder to do. Just keep trying and you'll get it

And don't forget that, as almost everybody here can confirm, once you've found a certain item, you find them more often.

Seriously! My Humar just can't stop finding CRUSH BULLET all the time! I've already found 4 and given 1 away... So I have 3, so if anybody wants one, once I find a way online, come see me!

Yeppers. For example, a little over week or so ago, as many here know -_-', I could not find a Chain Sawd. Then one day I'm going through Ult. Caves again and shazaam! 2 in one run.
So just get to Ult., then come the fun weapons. ^_^
