Best Way to Find Rares

my shift is in like 55mins, but ill leave in like 30, i was just saying, going to sleep now would be a waste of time.

Rares are all in ultimate, everything else is crap(photon drops are fun tho!)

Well that's not true, in a sense. For lower levels, like 30-40, V. Hard has some mediocre weapons. Varista isn't bad for that range for a pistol, for example.

....its one of the worst special weapon handguns out there, i find red handguns in ultimate and those are much much better

Actually, it is the worst Special Weapon handgun. But that's sort of what I'm saying, it's good for a lower level. It only requires 110 ATA I believe, good for a lower level.

ah but i only have 3 chars left in V.Hard mode and they have much better stuff so i just cant say whether its worth it or not

Would I be right in assuming that you might have transferred some better weapons from your better characters to these to power them up?

Hey! Now there's an idea! Maybe I should give the rare Force-only weapons my Humar sometimes finds to my Fomar! I found a Mahu card the other day, maybe that could help him level up.

16 for normal, 32 for hard and 46 for very hard, 125 for ultimate.

Does anyone have any special techniques to find rare items more often?

I've heard the "Beat (Time) Theory" and one about giving a monster a status ailment before you kill it... Has anything worked for you?
