Are you still asking about Super Monkey Ball 3, becos if u are, i found out, its not gonna b online, soz, however it will be LAN based, which means you can play more then 4 player, by connecting 2 gamecubes together both with the Broadband adapter in them, and then by joing the gamecubes up 2 seperate teles, u can play up2 8 player, alike Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and future games like 1080 Avalanche, err, and there were some others, ill edit this post and finish it off later!!
Shame its not gonna b online, but ey, thats life, mayb next time!
[EDIT] OK ive found my sources for the current list of future LAN compatible games, and are as follows:
Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (As i mentioned - to use all 16 characters in one race!)
Kirbys Air Ride (God knows, but i think its got sumin to do with racin!)
Starfox 2: Armada (8 Player simultanious Multiplayer mode)
1080 Avalanche (8 Player simultanious Multiplayer mode)
and of course Super Monkey Ball 3 (Hmmm, havent the foggiest!)
But thats all and i can tell Nintendo are really getting prepared for online gaming with their next console, if theyre already thinking about more then 4-player games which is what the Gamecube was built for! So who knows, maybe in a couple of years time, i could very well be kicking your arses on Mario Kart Online!! But as far as Online gaming on the Gamecube is concerned, youve only Phantasy Star Online, Episodes I, II, & III: C.A.R.D. Revolutions, and in truth, isnt that all you need!!!
