i found a branch of pakupaku and when i used it it had no special, and its description was that it "puts Chao into a trance." what does that mean? :S

i know that there's a mag called Chao that you use a mag cell to get, is it related to that?

its a 10 star so it should be better that just a beating stick

theres a way of sticking a chao on it...
makes 'striker of chao'

yep you need to be online for this...
Both method required online playing or having a friend who can get online^^
Old method: Get a CHAO Mag and USE it while ypu have a Branch of Pakupaku equiped. (You will only get a CHAO Magcell if you have a Jack-o-latern which is online only item)
TTF method: Start the Quest Towards the Future (Online Quest) as a force with a branch of paku paku equiped and go to the medic room in the left corner you will see a teleport which brings you to the waterfqall room in Ruins 1 go under the waterfall and a chao will sti down on your branch you its transformed into a Striker of Chao

that sucks because i don't have the online mode, so i guess all it is for me is a beating stick

thanks for clearing that up because i couldn't find anything about what it does

if i ever get the online mode i'll remeber to use it to get one of those things

lol it suxs even more cuz the TTF quest is the best quest to hunt for items in the ruins and stuff... oh well since when can you beat things with a stick? have fun with it while it lasts

Yes, and it pisses me off that I wasted so much time making a stupid chao mag to make my striker of chao, and then about a few months later, this stupid little method off of TTF comes out and depresses me rather much.

It adds a fair amount of MST, its special paralyzes enemies ^_^

can't you do the striker of chao with tha chao in Fake in yellow?
